Hunger strikers:' We To Destroy Imrali Prison'

Under the motto of "We Will Turn the Resistance  into a Life and Destroy Imrali Prison" 30 women from all components, Kurds and Arabs, and Turkmen in neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsoud of Aleppo, organized a hunger strike, in solidarity with the co-chair of Democratic Society Conference and Parliamentary in the Democratic Peoples Party (HDP) in Bakour Kurdistan (Northern Kurdistan) Leyla Guven.

The flags of Kongra Star, pictures of Abdullah Ocalan and the martyrs, and Leyla Guven, were hung in the hall.

The strike began with a statement by Kongra Star before the Women's Association for Training and Awareness was read by the member of  Kongra Star in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood Fatima Hassan, the statement said "

"On behalf of Kongra Star and all women in Aleppo we strongly condemn the isolation imposed by the Turkish authorities on the leader Ocalan and denounce the world silence.

The conspiracy against leader Ocalan is the conspiracy against humanity, the isolation imposed on Ocalan means the isolation of all peoples and the freedom of the leader means the freedom of mankind, and the truth of leadership to resist the international conspiracy emptied its content.

We as Kongra Star, we strive to liberate and revitalize the leader's thinking, because the leader's thought restored some of values stolen by the authoritarian regimes to the life, Ocalan restored to the woman her true history, which was distorted by the authoritarian mentality.

Rojava Revolution, with its arrival to the present stage, has achieved many developments and achievements under the roof of the effort and work carried out by the leader Ocalan in Rojava 20 years ago, in order to build a strong and solid base for all people in Syria and the Middle East.

The aim of tightening isolation is to eliminate the identity and freedom of peoples, not only the leader, but all political prisoners.

This is why we will strike for three days, in which we condemn the isolation imposed on the leader .

Long live the resistance of politician  Leyla Guven, shame and disgrace on traitors and conspirators, freedom to the leader Ocalan and all political prisoners."

The hunger strikers continues to chant slogans, revolutionary songs and debates about the importance of women's role in leading society.
