Sheikh al-Khaznawi: Turkey uses religion to attack peoples

The International Forum on Ethnic Cleansing and Demographic Change continues in Afrin at its second session, which concerns cultural and historical violations. In this context, Dr. Murshed Ma'shouq al-Khaznawi, Imam and preacher of the Center for the Revival of the Sunni in Norway, sent a video clip showing Turkey's use of religion as a mask.

The content of the video he sent was as follows:

"I was supposed to be honored to participate in this meeting today on this good land, which we have been away from for many years, but for special circumstances we could not participate with you physically, but we share your thoughts and spirit and we ask the Lord and wish you success.

We are talking and sharing ideas about this flagrant crime, which was carried out by tyrant of the tyrants of the age Recep Tayyip Erdogan and the Turkish army and its mercenaries of the Syrians and unfortunately in beloved Afrin through the practice of ethnic cleansing in order to change the demographic in the region, I think you have heard extensively to analyze this crime in terms of political, legal, and economic, which prevent us from repeating, but here I will add to it a religious soul.

Ladies and gentlemen: The religion, as you know is not an emergency to life, but is ancient, and religion is not strange to the soul, it knows the right to know and the perception and the nearness to it, it is the instinct that God created in people since they were born from the wombs of their mothers as stated in Al-Saheehayn from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Every child is born on instinct."

The fulfillment of man's spiritual needs and the realization of his emotional desires are the most important functions of religion in the life of man, in which he transcends the soul, elevates the soul, and stimulates the soul, through which man realizes the philosophy of life and knows its value. His mind and what he thinks about the questions related to this life and its role in it, and its fate and destiny after its completion, and this in turn relaxes the human and relieves the burden of life and its difficulties, and makes him feel peace and stability reconciled with existence and feel harmony and consistency with him. Religion is food for the spirit and satisfaction of the conscience and satisfaction of conscience, and hence the innate human need for religion.

But on the other side of the religion is a dark side, like the name of the body, which is exhausting in the body, as the founders of the communist philosophy (the religion is opium of people) say. This statement needs to be added and adopted and deserves to be written with gold water.

The great majority of Muslims believe that their religion is not a belief that represents the relationship between the worshipper and their Lord only. Rather, it is a system of life that God sent by His Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to show to mankind how to perform the task of settling in the land and its reconstruction as this belief is evidenced by many of the Quran verses, which has become entrenched in the general Muslim, made religion and its speech the most influential in all Muslims.

The extent of this influence of religious discourse has been realized by all those who tried to lead the Muslim nation's policy and conduct its affairs from Muslims or even non-Muslims.

The Turkish government and its Sultan Erdogan aspires from an expansive perspective based on a broad historical imagination and security pretexts to control large areas of northern Syria, especially Kurdish ones, to fight the Kurdish advancement inside Turkey or abroad, according to their claim.

The Turkish mentality is based on the end of the Kurdish presence, and on keeping the Kurds orphans, without a land nor protector, but this mentality and this idea is not active among the people and is not popularized. It has been tried a lot by Turkish secular, nationalist and leftist regimes on the rule of Turkey which did not work? ... what to work? ..The solution is at the student of political Islam. So let us cover it with religion.

The ethnic cleansing is being carried out in Afrin, where the Kurds constitute 95 percent. They are ethnically cleansed in an effort to create a homogenous geographical space by evicting the Kurds by using armed force, intimidation, forced deportation, persecution or privacy. Cultural, linguistic and ethnic, through the final elimination or demilitarization in the ethnic environment that is intended to prevail.

The Turkish attack on Afrin caused the displacement of more than 200,000 people and Erdogan says that he will hand over Afrin to its real people, that is, he will enter another 200 thousand people to the land of Afrin to replace them with Afrin population, and this is ethnic cleansing does not mean anything else.

In this type of assault on human beings, the aggressor does not distinguish between helpless and strong, not between a fighter and a peaceful man, nor between a man, a woman and a child, because it is intended to end the existence of this human element from the target country and to cleanse the spot. Therefore, it is not forbidden to use any kind of weapons, no matter how deadly, and no restrictions on killing, crushing, and annihilation. This cruelty makes those who have been survived genocide and cleansing flee seeking a sole demand: to survive never looking back.

This is the fact that Turk has long since recognized history and turned its pages. You will find Erdogan a disciple of Talat Pasha, the contemporary father of Turkey, the architect of ethnic cleansing
