Mercenaries' attacks on villages of north Manbij intensified

It is clear that the intensification of the Turkish attacks and its mercenaries on the northern villages of Manbij has increased significantly after the joint patrols between Turkey and the United States on the contact lines in the front of al-Sajour River between Manbij Military Council's Forces and the Turkish occupation's mercenaries.

The Coalition's forces began early last month to run joint patrols with Turkey in the separation areas between Manbij Military Council and Turkish occupation's mercenaries, north of Manbi city, and 4 Joint patrols have been run.

On Sunday night, the northern villages of Manbij witnessed the targeting of 12- points of Manbij Military Council's Forces in Aoun al-Dadat , al-Halouanji, al-Mohsenly, Tokhaz al-Khabeer, al-Rafia, Arab Hassen, Om Jalod, where the Turkish occupation's mercenaries used heavy machine guns.

According to the fighters of Manbij Military, they heard the sound of military machineries near the lines of separation, describing the attacks on their points of the provocative operations, stressing the absence of casualties in the ranks of their forces.

One of the fighters of ManbIj Military Council, which witnessed clashes on Sunday night, the fighter Hikmat al-Hajji, explained the events took place on Sunday night, "We were subjected to heavy fire launched towards our points, and we faced the appropriate response to the sites of fire. The clashes began at sunset until 2 am, and the mercenaries used medium and heavy weapons. The clashes continued until the mercenaries returned to their sites."

"We were subjected to heavy bullets on Sunday night, and we have done our duty to protect the civilians, and we will protect Manbij," said the fighter.

Several villages north of Manbij and on the line between Manbij Military Council and the Turkish occupation have been targeted by the mercenaries several times in the recent weeks. The fighters of Manbij Military Council have used their right of legitimate defense in response to the attacks.
