Patrice Franshichi: Turkish occupation plans to occupy Afrin, conducted maneuvers in this regard

Franshichi said, "What happened in Afrin was similar to what happened in many cities and around the world, and its main goal is to attack other towns to change their demographics."

He noted that the Turks had taken many steps before the attack on Afrin, and developed strategies to legitimize their attacks without the intervention of regional and international countries.

He added, "Turkey has discussed how to replace the indigenous residents of Afrin without being prevented by anyone and through its military forces, and it determined to fear the people as a basis and weaken their morale because it cannot weaken the fighters' morale."

He noted that Turkey has resorted to exchanging the areas of fighting and confined in certain areas and killing all those present there by committing massacres so that no witness on the fighting remains, and therefore terror must be used to apply real terrorism against civilians, and this is what the Turks have done although it is considered against human rights."

He said that to break the will of the fighters, Turkey mutilated their bodies which the Turks have considered it as a step in the victory path.

He pointed out that Turkey had prevented documents from being shown to the world and limited them only to the killed toll, and showed the world that they were only killing the soldiers because if these massacres appeared, they would cause a significant negative impact on Turkey. Turkey tried to show that the killed were as a result of the war.

He sees that Turkey, in order to achieve its goals quickly and without international intervention, settled its mercenaries to carry out its massacres and to show its forces as the liberator of the world and that whoever kill are the mercenaries affiliated to it, and therefore, the international community will not be able to act. He added, "Therefore, you do not see anyone abroad and on the world's level is listening to you according to the way to control on the area. I say that there are two things that are close fear and distant fear; the Turkish forces have practiced the distant fear and its mercenaries have practiced the close fear and committed massacres, so no one can hold Turkey the accountable."

He explained that Turkey had taken many steps at the diplomatic level at the time when the diplomacy in Rojava was in coma, where Erdogan tried to show that he did not intend to attack Afrin despite the mobilization of troops on the border, and succeeded in his ambitions and endeavors. So they have done diplomatic attacks before occupying Afrin. The aim of diplomacy beside the military side, putting Rojava in a coma and showing comfort to them are because if the diplomacy were in a coma, the control will be facilitated. You must be vigilant to this matter and not allow its repetition.

He added, "With this move, NATO has not beaten him because it is essentially a member."

At the end of his speech, he explained that the Turks are trying to continue their actions and will not only stand at Afrin, they have a long plan. We have to learn from Afrin's lesson to protect other areas.
