Manbij bids farewell martyr Abed al-Hamid al-Letfo

Today, hundreds of people from Manbij city, bid farewell the corpse of the fighter in the ranks of Manbij Military Council martyr Abdul Hamid al-Letfo, the nom de guerre Murad Zaza to his last resting place in the Martyrs' shrine after he was martyred on the current November 24 by an explosive device in a car he was driving in al-Delu Street of Manbij city.

The funeral procession of the martyr Abdul Hamid al-Letfo was held in front of the Euphrates hospital with the participation of hundreds of people from Manbij and members of the civil and military committees and institutions of the Democratic Civil Administration.

As the funeral procession arrived at the martyrs' shrine, the ceremony began with presenting a military parade by the Self-Defense fighters. Then the administrator of the Martyrs Families Mahmoud al-Ido delivered a speech in which he said: "We pay tribute to these heroes who sacrificed their blood to liberate their land from the abomination of terrorism."

The commander of the Manbij Military Council, Ibrahim al-Bannawi, also delivered a speech in which he said, "Today we stand speechless, tears do not suffice to express our grief, terrorism has no religion nor doctrine, terrorism does not know a civilian or a militant, today we have offered a martyr and tomorrow we will give martyrs, to reach the freedom and justice that we started our revolution by."

Then the co-chair of the  Executive Council, Mohamed Sheikho, also delivered a speech on behalf of the Democratic Civil Administration in Manbij and its countryside. "Today we stand here and enjoy freedom. This freedom is precious. This freedom has been realized only thanks to the blood of the martyrs."

After the completion of the speeches, the member of the Council of Martyrs' Families read the martyrdom document of the martyr Abed Hamid al-Letfo and handed it over to his family.
