Poor quantity of fuel delayed its distribution to al-Karama people

Winter season has come, Sadkub institution has distributed the fuel oil in al-Karama area through the councils and Communes to be distributed to the people, but the quantity was insufficient to all the residents.

Al-Karama people's area have appealed to the councils and Sadkoub station to insure the fuel oil to the citizens due to its high prices in the markets, where the price per barrel is 24,000 SP, the price of a liter is 120 SP, and the price at the station 11,500 SP.

The citizen Abdullah Mohammed from al-Karama area said, "The winter has come and the fuel oil is not distributed to the entire area. We need to ignite the heaters to counter the cold. The fuel oil is available in the free markets, but with prices that we cannot buy. We appeal to the councils and Sadkup company to secure fuel oil for heating.

The co-chair of the Western People's Assembly in al-Karama Ismail al-Mulhim said, "We distributed the fuel oil to 10 communes, and the quantity was not enough to complete the rest as 7 communes including 1,400 families remained to receive the fuel oil."

The member of Sadkub Foundation Khalil al-Awad said, "About 70% of al-Karama people have received their allocations of fuel oil. We would complete the rest in the coming days. The increasing demand for the fuel oil has led to decreasing it in the area. The quantity that comes to us is few, and we distribute it to the bakeries and mills to secure the bread and what is remained is distributed to the councils."

It is worth noting that Sadkub company has been distributing the fuel oil to al-Raqqa city people and its countryside since about two months.
