Textbook alleviated burden on teacher, student simultaneously

The educational process in al-Tabqa continues at a steady pace in the current academic year after the suffering in the previous years which is considered a relief for education because it lacks many elements regarding the textbook and the damage inflicted to the schools in the result of the wars that took place in the area and keeping the students far from learning over 7 years under the occupation of the mercenaries and IS of the area. 

The school year witnessed a noticeable improvement regarding the restoration of the schools and the rehabilitation of teachers through opening training courses and accessing the textbook to the hands of the student which strengthened the confidence of parents in the educational system as the parents began to flock frequently to register their children in the schools after the disappearance of their fears about the lack of a fixed curriculum as the spokeswoman in al-Sanubari School Stanai Kamal Deshek explained.

The co-chair of the Schools' Administration in al-Tabqa Ahmed al-Ebbo pointed out to the increase of the number of teachers in al-Tabqa to reach 920 teachers with the increase in the number of students that reached 25,000 students in al-Tabqa and its countryside.

Ahmed al-Ebbo confirmed that the teacher has become able to give lessons and deliver the information to the student easily after receiving the textbook which ensured the delivery of the information smoothly and quickly to the student without the need to write the full lesson from the board.

The textbooks that arrived from UNICEF within the Self-Education Program have been distributed in al-Tabqa and its rural areas nearly a week ago. The number of copies received by the Education Committee was reached to 71,000 which included four subjects; Mathematics, Biology and Arabic in addition to English.
