Euphrates region women: Woman must be free wherever she is

Under the slogan "Hand in Hand to Liberate the Enslaved Women," Kongra Star organized a demonstration in which hundreds of women from the Euphrates region, the Society Protection Forces(HPC)-Women, Women's Protection Units(YPJ), Counterterrorism Units-Women, Asayiş Forces of Women.

The demonstration began from the Peace Square and headed towards the Women's Free Square. In the demonstration, the voices of the women of the Euphrates region echoed the slogans calling for the freedom of Ocalan and the freedom of women.

On reaching the Women's Free Square, a member of Kongra Star, Sara Khalil delivered a speech in which she explained that women had answered all questions by addressing the occupation and showed that women must be free wherever they are.

She added, "We, as women, must strive to achieve the freedom of Ocalan, and we will continue all activities until he gets his freedom."

In her turn, the administrator of Kongra Star Conference in Srin Hala Mohammed explained that male mentality always wants to eliminate the role of women.

She added, "With the thought of Ocalan, women were liberated. We,  as women, pledge that we will free all women who remain prisoners of male mindset."

The demonstration ended with slogans calling for women's freedom.
