Jamal Rashid: Preparing constitution abroad will not serve Syrians

In an interview with him to talk about the recent political situation in the region, Jamal Rashid told ANHA, that Turkey’s goal of attacking northern Syria is to maintain the existence of IS mercenaries and stop the advance  of al-Jazeera Tempest campaign.

Rashid talked about the Turkish violations in Afrin "since the beginning of the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries on Afrin, Turkey wanted to make a demographic change to end the existence of the Kurdish people because Turkey has been hostile for hundreds of years, and the occupation of Afrin came to appease the mercenaries in Afrin in return for handover of other areas of Syria to the Syrian regime and Afrin became victim of those agreements, and we saw that Turkey has opened a new crossing between Afrin and Turkey to steal the olive harvest and conduct trade between Afrin and the state of Hatay of Turkey to legitimize its occupation.

Rashid pointed out during his speech that Erdogan did not reach what he intended at the Quartet Summit,

 "Erdogan's goal of the Quartet Summit held in Istanbul was the establishment of a European-Asian alliance that serves their interests and strengthens their influence, and other international agreements that claimed to find a solution to the Syrian crisis, but those countries are looking for their interests in Syria and to keep the role of prolonging the crisis as the solution will end its role in the country."

Rashid said that the attacks of the Turkish occupation army on the north of Syria is to keep IS mercenaries for longer time.

USA knew that Turkey would launch attacks, because Turkey will not be able to attack without taking green light from America as they are allies for decades, America plays the role of mediator between SDF and Turkey, and try to satisfy the parties in a way that does not negatively affect the relationship where we saw that Turkey did not increase its attacks, when the international coalition fights with us against IS mercenaries, calling on the grounds that they are terrorists, this means that we are not a terrorist force as Turkey claims and the aim was to keep an IS in the last stronghold in Deir ez-Zor."

 Rashid said "The constitution that will be put by foreign countries is for their international interests. The constitution must be established by all the components of the Syrian people on the basis of a democratic society in which justice and equality prevail. This will not happen until the interests of the countries end in Syria."
