Al-Raqqa people: Turkey's goal is to create sedition in country

After the advance of the Syrian Democratic Forces against IS in the last pocket in Hajin in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor, Turkey is trying to launch attacks on north-east Syria to ease the pressure on IS by targeting Tel Abyed and Kobanî.

On the recent attacks on the North Syria's areas, ANHA agency met in al-Raqqa with a number of residents condemning the terrorist attacks that try to sow discord in North Syria's areas.

The citizen Ahmed al-Sultan said, "We condemn the Turkish attacks on our territory. Erdogan is trying to export terrorism to us, while he is the head of terror. We demand the clans to face the aggressor. We do not allow him to take an inch of our land. Our lives and our children are redemption of the soil of Syria. We denounce the Turkish aggression of occupying Afrin. We are against the Turkish aggression wherever it was, and we will return our land Afrin as soon as possible God willing."

The citizen Aboud al-Muhemied said, "The attacks that are taking place in North Syria and al-Raqqa in particular are to create strife among the tribes because the city of al-Raqqa is a tribal city, and Turkey is trying to bring in interiors among us to create strife among the tribes with weak pretexts. We are cultured people and aware of these plots in all their aspects, and whatever they try to do, they will not achieve what is in their minds."

The citizen Sana Muhammad al-Saleh said, "We send a message to everyone who tries to sow strife in this country and create problems that we as the people of al-Raqqa will be one hand in the face of the enemy and we will not allow anyone to create strife among us.
