They live in shops saying "we will return to Afrin"

On the road linked the villages of Babens and Tal Shaer, 10 families from Afrin live in shops that were abandoned and turned them into a temporary home, where they resist until the liberation of Afrin.

The members of these families are about 60 people, with women and men divided into six shops, where the majority of shops have two families.

These families did not accept to live under the rule of the mercenaries in Afrin. Therefore, when the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries attacked and occupied Afrin, these families went out like dozens of thousands of Afrin families who were forcibly displaced to the areas of al-Shahba.

These families have become an example of resistance and struggle. They endure the cold and difficult living conditions and accept to live in these shops, leaving behind them their agricultural lands and olive trees.

These families know that there is no way to liberate Afrin except by their resistance and rejection of the occupation and the continuation of the struggle under difficult circumstances and bearing everything for the sake of Afrin.

When you pass the road you see children playing, women doing the work of the house and men who have opened a small platform to secure his family's livelihood.

In this context, the citizen Muhammad Abdo Sheikho said to ANHA agency "The Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries launched an attack on Afrin and we have been enforced to get out of it, leaving all our lands and olive trees, going to the areas of al-Shahba, living in shops and sharing with other families, in order to continue the resistance until the liberation of Afrin from the hand of the mercenaries, and we will return to Afrin inevitably with our resistance and struggle here in these shops. "
