Martyrs' families demonstrates against US decision

The Martyrs' Families Council in Girkê Legê district has organized a demonstration in the center of Çil Agha district in which the martyrs' families participated in the districts of Girkê Legê, Çil Agha and Tel Koçer to denounce the US decision against the leaders of the Kurdistan Liberation Movement.

The participants raised banners with "The US decision legitimates the massacres of the Turkish state against the Kurdish people," written on.

The demonstrators gathered on the main street in the center of Çil Agha city, where the march began amid chanting the slogans against the US decision.

And a statement which is issued by the Council of the Martyrs' Families was read in this regard by the Council's member Shahnaz Abdo.

The text of the statement included,

"We denounce the US decision in coordination with the fascist Turkish state against the PKK leaders, the PKK called for democracy, the peoples' unification in the area and coexistence among all components of the area."

"The capitalist countries want to eliminate the free ideology and to not leave the Kurds to reach their rights and make the Kurdish issue an internationally legitimate issue so these countries are doing these aggressive practices against the Kurdish people to the extent issuing a decision to arrest leaders of the PKK."

The statement called on the peoples of the area to wrap around the Kurdish leaders and organize marches and sit-ins to condemn this decision.

The demonstration ended with chanting the slogans that call for the freedom of peoples and denounce the American decision.
