HPG: 17 Turkish soldiers killed, 37 wounded in Şemzînan

HPG media center noted that their forces carried out operations resulted in targeting of 6 positions of the Turkish occupation in Colemêrg and Şemzînan, according to statement issued in Silor hill and Bêsosinê operation, 17 Turkish soldiers were killed and 37 wounded.

The Media Center of the Popular Defense Forces(HPG) and in conjunction with the Guerilla operations issued a public opinion statement stating:

"On the evening of November 9 and the morning of the second day of November 10, at 09.00, our forces carried out an operation against 6 positions of the Turkish occupation army.

During that time, our forces targeted Silor hill in Bêsosin district of Şemzînan, the Commando Battalion in Colemêrg, Central Square 23, Şernax command, the Tank Battalion in Cizîr, the Military Assembly Square in Hacilar of Silopiyayê and the border post in Mesût in addition, our forces launched directed hits against them.

Within the framework of this revolutionary campaign, which was carried out with skill and precise planning, the enemy lost large numbers of its soldiers, the occupation hid the numbers of its mortalities, but they were forced to announce the death of seven of its soldiers on Silor hill, but what was confirmed is 17 were killed and about 37 wounded.

This revolutionary campaign was carried out in retaliation for the soul of our two companions, Atkan Maher and Zaki Şengali, and to commemorate all our comrades who were recently martyred.
