Al-Tabqa clans accused Turkey of being behind assassination of Sheikh Faisal al-Huwaidi

After a meeting held by elders and dignitaries of al-Tabqa and its countryside areas in Mansoura district, a statement was issued by the tribes confirming that the assassination of Sheikh Faisal Bashir al-Huwaidi is an attempt by external forces to tamper with the fabric of the components of the region and the negative impact on the relationship of the peoples of the region with SDF.

The tribes linked the Turkish attacks with attempts to destabilize the areas liberated by SDF and coincided with a propaganda campaign aimed at the security and stability of our regions and instigating strife among our people by unethical methods.

The most important of these is the exploitation of the assassination of Sheikh Bashir Faisal Huwaidi, the man who walked with SDF on the path of struggle and worked hard with all the elders of the national region to bring the people to safety. We all know that the victories that achieved by the civil administrations and the SDF in north and east Syria has not received satisfaction from several parties, including the Turkish state, which has always provided terrorism which is represented by Jabhat al-Nasra and IS.

The tribes confirmed that the attempts to create sedition serve IS mercenaries, and therefore we, the sheikhs of al-Tabqa clans, declare the following:

1. We denounce the attacks by the Turkish fascist state on Kobanî, Tal Abyad and all areas of northern and eastern Syria.

2. We call upon the international community to stand up to these attacks and to carry out what is incumbent upon them to protect our people and maintain security and stability.

3. We condemn the accusations against SDF and Autonomous Administration in connection with the assassination of Sheikh Bashir Faisal al-Huwaidi.

4 - The meeting of tribal sheikhs in al-Tabqa denounces the assassination of Sheikh Bashir and we ask the concerned authorities to expedite the disclosure of the circumstances of this crime and bring the perpetrators to justice .

5- SDF which we entrust in protecting our land and our people from any attacks and we tribal shiekhs support them financially and morally.

6- The Autonomous Administration is a democratic administration built on the basis of pluralism and all members of the components of the people and we declare again that they are representing the people in the north-east of Syria.
