"The people of north, east Syria do not accept slavery, humiliation, will fight for freedom"

Today, thousands of people from the province of Qamishlo marched on the occasion of the International Day of Solidarity with Kobani and condemned the Turkish attacks on northern Syria, where residents from all the Kurdish, Arab, Syriac and Yezidis components  met in front of the Kongra Star Center in the area of ​Tirbesipiye.

After the gathering of the people in front of the center of the Kongra Star, they headed towards the main street in the area of ​​Tirbesipiye carrying banners glorifying the resistance of Kobani, and demanding the liberation of Afrin and northern Syria from the Turkish occupation, as well as condemning the Turkish attack on the safe areas in northern Syria, and chanted slogans against the Turkish occupation Syrian areas.

The crowd stood in the Azadi roundabout north of Tirbesipiye. In the square, several speeches were delivered on behalf of the Kongra Star in North and East Syria, which was made by administrator Asya Abdullah, pointing out that the resistance of Kobani was a humanitarian resistance and enabled fighters  of the People and Women Protection Units(YPG, YPJ) to stand against the largest terrorist organization "that is, Daesh which did not differentiate between a child and a young man and a woman and an old man.

Asya Abdullah explained that Kobani resistance overcame due to the sacrifices of fighters such as Arin Mirkan, and the combination of components and proved to the world that the people of north and east of Syria do not accept slavery and humiliation, but will fight for freedom.

Asya Abdullah pointed out that the Turkish state and after the defeat of its ally in Kobani, Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor today are shelling safe and liberated areas in order to ease the pressure on mercenaries who are receiving painful blows in the areas of Deir al-Zour. "These attacks are attacks against fraternity and unity of north and east of Syria components.”

"The people of the region and the sons and daughters of Kobani stood up against the terrorist groups. As a result of the resistance shown by the people of the region, the first day of November was declared the World Day of Solidarity with Kobani. On this day the enemies of humanity were defeated in the small city of Kobani." Said the head of Antiquities and Environment Protection Hussein al-Ali.

"Today, all the components of Qamishlo are standing hand in hand to salute the great resistance of Kobani, which  won its free will against mercenaries," Efram Ishaq, the co-chair of Qamishlo Council, stated welcoming the crowds.

 The march ended with slogans condemning the Turkish occupation and attacks on northern Syria.
