In solidarity with it, al-Hasakah chants aloud “Kobanî” against Turkish attacks

To condemn the repeated attacks by the Turkish occupation army on Kobanî and Girê Spî cantons in the Euphrates region of northern Syria, Young Women Union organized a demonstration in al- Hasakah city, in which hundreds of young people participated.

During the demonstration, the youth raised the flags of Rojava Youth Union and the Young Women's Union, the Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan's photos, along with Kurdish-language banners said, "Revolt Against the Occupation of the Turkish State."

The demonstration was launched from Sinalco roundabout in Tal Hajar neighborhood, amid the slogans of the youth which condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation and saluted the resistance of SDF.

The protesters marched to al-Etfaiya' roundabout in the same neighborhood, and held a minute of silence.

Then the administrator in Young Woman Union, Dalila Jian delivered a speech and said ,the attacks will be thwarted because this land is covered with the blood of thousands of martyrs and we will never abandon it.

She added, "tomorrow, November 1st is the World Day of Kobanî, this historic day, and Erdogan tries to distort his attacks, and this is evidence of his bankruptcy against the resistance of the peoples of the region that defeated the mercenaries who supported them."

She noted that as youth, they will not stand by and watch these attacks and will fight for freedom.

The demonstration ended with chanting slogans condemning the Turkish occupation and saluted  the resistance of SDF.
