Kurds in Diaspora constitute 1st institution of martyrs families in Finland

The Kurds in Finland organized a meeting attended by dozens of families of martyrs living in Finland, whose sons and daughters were martyred in defense of the Kurdish people and Kurdistan, within the meeting place, pictures of martyrs were hung.

The meeting began with a minute of silence in honor of the martyrs' lives, and then many speeches were delivered by the audience, who recalled all the martyrs of freedom. They stressed that thanks to the martyrs and their sacrifices, the Kurdish people continue their struggle and resistance against the policies of genocide against them. The importance of the role of Kurdish women in those revolutions and leadership of the struggle and resistance, recalling the struggler Beritan, who became a symbol of free and struggling women for the freedom of her people and land and women in general.

After the completion of the words, the door to run for the election of a council for the families of martyrs was opened, and after the vote 9 were elected members of the Council of Families of Martyrs in Finland.

The meeting ended with a televised presentation of the life of martyr Beritan, and the distribution of photographs of the martyrs to their relatives present at the meeting, amid the chanting slogans that glorify martyrdom and martyrs.

It is worth mentioning that the Foundation of Martyrs' Families, which was formed, includes families of martyrs from all over Kurdistan, and will work to organize them in the Diaspora and provide services to them.
