She supports her family, organizations do not help to develop her career

The young girl Dalal Zakaria, a displaced person from the city of Deir ez-Zor, is in the third decade of age, learned the sewing profession in Damascus and after conditions got bad, she returned with her family to Deir ez-Zor, but they did not escape the oppression of IS mercenaries and they enforced to displace again.

On her journey to safety, Dalal Zakaria settled with her family in al-Arisha camp. She continued to practice her profession to help her parents because her father was suffering from "DISC", and she found herself responsible for her family's livelihood inside the camp.

Despite her high standards, the organizations did not accept to open sewing courses in the camp except by receiving her as an apprentice.

Dalal Zakaria told Hawar news agency that the camp generally suffers from the provision of aid by the organizations and their lack of interest to develop the profession.

"After the crisis began in Damascus, the regime returned us to Deir ez-Zor and I continued to practice my profession. I had more than one machine, but when we fled from IS mercenaries and displaced to al-Arisha camp, I could only bring the small machine."

Dalal Zakaria said that she did not have brothers and her father suffers from DISC disease so she found herself responsible for her brothers in the circumstances. She added, "The benefit I have taken from my work has been spent on the daily needs of the family because the aid provided by the organizations is inadequate."

Dalal stressed that the organizations fail in their work in terms of providing services and do not respond to their demands. She said, "If the Autonomous Administration did not give us the tents, we would be abroad now."

Dalal Zakaria concluded, "I appealed to the organizations to help me develop my work and bring me the tools I need, every time they promise me, but they do not fulfill their promises."
