On liberation's day : story  of young woman excuted by retribution

IS who has occupied al-Raqqa city for four consecutive years imposed on the people provisions far from humanity, where the provisions retribution of punishment and stoning against them,

Al-Raqqa city 's women were considerably maltreated during domination of IS , several women were exposed to retribution and stoning to death among the women who were punished was the young Rahaf, who was executed under fake pretext that she was studying and traveling alone to another city.

 Rahaf, who was  at 23 years old, had completed her studies at the Faculty of Arts at the Department of Arabic Language at the University of Aleppo, when she returned to al-Raqqa city had been stopped by mercenaries checkpoint and ask her why she traveled and during the conversation discovered IS during questioned her as a university student and study in The land of disbelief as they said .

"Rahef has been arrested and stoned till the death"

A few days after Rahaf's return to the city, the mercenaries who call themselves security guards attacked Rahaf's house and arrested Rahaf, her father and her friend who was visiting her. A month later Rahaf's father was released. Rahaf and Rosa remained imprisoned by IS .

On April 26, 2017, Rahaf family was informed that their daughter had been carried out the act of retribution in front of al-Khader Pharmacy in al-Raqqa market because she refused to obey the wishes of the IS and refused to be slave of them .

The family of Rahaf did not see the body of their daughter until today, while her friend Rosa is still doomed as the fate of hundreds of people of the unknown.

Women were stoned under false pretexts by IS ,In the hole in front of the local stadium (pitch black) where they were putting the victim in the pit, which is a meter deep to be half of her body inside that hole and the other half outside the hole, With her hands and feet tied and  stoned, And the victims were stayed  for a full day in the pit to spread terror and fear in the hearts of the people.

After the campaign launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces SDF led by (YPJ) Women Protection Units , which culminated in the liberation of the city, many women were released. The women began to breathe a sigh of relief and re-established themselves until today they were able to ruling themselves.
