"We resisted enemy's shelling , we to resist harshness of winter"

The people of Afrin who forcibly leaved their city and headed to al-Shahba canton  to escape the massacres and violations committed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries against the indigenous owners of the land, withstood the harshest stages and hot climates with chronic diseases, they are still resisting to liberate Afrin after 6 months of leaving it.

The winter is coming and Afrinis forcibly were displaced for the first time outside their territory and within the resistance camps. Afrin people assert that resistance and steadfastness are the only way to liberate Afrin and return to it despite all the circumstances they will face.

Suleiman Mohammed of Afrin said that they resisted the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries for 58 days did not surrender to the Turkish aggression for a moment and that their determination to walk the path of the resistance is increasing one day after another.

Mohammed pointed out that nothing discourages them from the resistance and no matter how the Turkish aggression tries to distort the stage and to delude the people that Afrin is safe, they will not weaken in front of the lies of the Turkish occupation and that Turkey and its support for terrorism and its history of campaigns of genocide and occupation of the territories is witness on its on brutality.

Siham Abdo said, "There is no doubt that the heat of the summer sun was harsh on us and that the winter weather would be more severe as we consider all the possibilities and difficulties that we can face, especially as diseases will increase and it will be difficult to walk and live in the tents as now"

Siham said that Afrin is their land and they will never forget the land that protected and embraced them at a time when all the Syrian territories were witnessing conflicts and battles, on this basis, their slogans will remain steadfastness and resistance until liberating Afrin and returning to it.

While Fatima Majid noted that the people of Afrin who are forcibly displaced to al-Shahba live in the most difficult circumstances and resist all the conspiracies that have been waged by many countries and their insistence on all difficulties is the only way to return to Afrin as they have no trust in the world countries.

Fatima concluded by appealing to international and humanitarian organizations and countries in the world calling for peace and democracy to awake their consciences and accelerate the demand for the exit of the Turkish occupation from Afrin to save the civilians   besieged in Afrin and return those present in al-Shahba to their land and live in peace.
