She was born in 1989 in Ad- Dirbêsiyê area , She was the fourth youngest.  She was characterized by calm and long hair among her companions, and her first hobby was to plant trees and flowers at home.

Mizgîn relied on herself from an early age, where she was studying and working at the same time in the agricultural lands by harvesting cotton and helping the family.

She left school at the primary level and her eldest sibling whose name is  Kurdi Şêxmûs she took responsibility for her self. Not only she was a normal person at home, she was friendly to all those who knew her and lived her life with them.

At the beginning of the revolution, the young woman left her family life and joined the revolutionary youth. She joined the revolutionary youth and participated in the organization of activities among the community in terms of marches and organizational activities until the Women Protection Units YPJ were established and joined this time in the responsibility of the revolution.

Everyone's friendly

"My daughter, Mizgîn is named as name martyr Mizgin, who was close to me and all my children, helped me and helped the family to secure a living.she was attracted the attention of everyone who knew her because she was social in life,"the mother Hamdiya Hussein.

"We were going out together and sleeping together, and everyone thinks we are friends, and the first family separation we had when she joined the Women Protection Units YPJ," said her younger sister Rihan Şêxmûs

While her sibling Bassil Şêxmûs says that " Mizgîn was characterized by her tenderness ,she had no limits to achieve her goals, including learning the Kurdish language at the beginning of the revolution."

The beginning of the revolution ... a new life

"At the beginning of the revolution, Mizgîn  left everything to do with the house, began to work for the revolutionary youth, and became the vanguard in organizing youth training and running popular rallies calling for freedom every Friday. And then entered the Star Union (Kongra Star currently) for months as well as work in youth without tireless or boredom.

During her visit to the Martyr Berçem battalion in Serêkaniyê, she met many young women who joined the revolution, And one day she says to her mother  "My mother I want to do a bigger job in this revolution, Mizgîn said" her morher asked her  "What do you do? , Mizgîn said" I think it's honorable to be a fighter for your protection, Mom.

Hamdiya Hussein her mother, who remembers those moments said "I knew that the work of young men in the administration and organization of the youth would push her to join Women Protection Units YPJ because she loved the land and the people,"When my mother told me I want to expand my job I did not say anything."

Everyone has learned the love of life

"I knew the fighter Mizgîn when she visited the Martyr Berçem battalion in Serêkaniyê. It caught my attention at the first meeting between us. Before meeting the comrades, we met each other and talked about the revolution and the reasons for joining it," she was excited to learn about the reality of the woman and the leader, and after a while decided to join the battalion. "

The last battle

Mother Hamdiya Hussein said how "she was very disciplined and did not leave her gun for a second even at the time of her visit. I used to tell her my daughter put your gune away just for relaxe  and told me  I can not keep my weapon away from me. My friends may contact me in case of any emergency

With the intensification of the war in the villages of Serêkaniyê area against IS mercenaries, Mizgîn was stationed in Tel -Buga at one of the points of concentration of Women Protection Units YPJ On the night of April 3, ISmercenaries attacked their points. After the area was besieged and the battles intensified, the fighters showed legendary resistance and expelled IS mercenaries of  the hill, but Mizgîn  and two of her comrades (Bermal û Şevger ) were martyred at Tel- Buga on April 3, 2014. 

In the early hours of the day, she and her family were celebrating the birth of the leader Abdullah Ocelan on April 4, and as usual, on the birthday of the leader Ocelan where trees were planting, and because Mizgîn was fond of planting trees and plants in general, Leaving another imprint behind it just moments before the martyrdom.
