Dozens of mercenaries eliminated within battle to defeat terrorism

The statement of SDF included,

1- Baguz axis: Our fighters progressed a distance of 500 meters due to violent clashes that they were engaged in against IS terrorists. A number of terrorists were killed in the clashes, and our forces managed to install 6 points and seize a quantity of weapons.

In the evening, our fighters launched an attack on the terrorists’ sites, killing a number of terrorists, seizing a number of weapons and detonating a number of mines planted by terrorists.

The International Coalition’s aircrafts launched several aerial raids against the terrorists’ sites and fortifications.

This axis witnesses intermittent clashes every now and then that are accompanied by bombing with mortars.

2 - Hejin axis: Strong clashes broke out between our fighters and the terrorists and they lasted for long hours. The terrorists used heavy weapons and intended to bombard indiscriminately with mortars and heavy machine guns, but they did not cause any damage to our fighters. Moreover, we could not know the number of their killed and their losses.

Intermittent clashes erupt between our fighters and the terrorists every now with mutual artillery shelling.

3 – The outcomes of the clashes:

The terrorists’ killed: 23 terrorists.

The raids of the Global Alliance’s aircrafts: 5 raids.

The terrorists’ losses: Two positions were destroyed.

The weapons seized by our fighters: M-16 weapon (1), S.P.G9 fillings (6), Dushka’s ammunition of 23 mm caliber (10 cans), Dushka’s ammunition of 12.5 mm (2 cans), a quantity of bullets and RBG shells (11 shells).
