International martyrs' families: martyrs restored hope, freedom to peoples

On Monday, the delegation of the families of the international martyrs who arrived in Rojava last week visited the Shrine of Martyr Dalil Sarokhan in Qamishlo city. The visiting delegation was received by the co-chair of the martyrs' Families Council and members of the Council.

The delegation included the father of the martyr Shursh Amanus, Peter Holm, the father of martyr Kamal, Chris Kervi, and the mother of the martyr Baran Amanus, Milin Dobry, who were martyred during the battles fought by the People's and Women's Protection Units against IS mercenaries in north and east Syria.

The martyr Kamal's father said "The blood of Freedom martyrs will not go down because they fought to liberate the peoples of the region from the darkest terrorism that history has ever known, and their sacrifices have brought freedom to the people of the area who have established a democratic system to follow,"

In his turn, the co-chair of the Martyr's Families Council in Qamishlo Masoum Hasan expressed his gratitude for the sacrifices of the martyrs and their noble humanitarian goals who have sacrificed their lives in the freedom path. He thanked their families for this visit and stressed that all the martyrs who participated in the liberation campaigns of north and east Syria were the ones who eliminated global terrorism represented by IS mercenaries and other gangs.
