Aref Sheikho: Idlib become center for international liquidation, concessions

This came during an interview with ANHA agency, to talk about the events in Idlib and what intentions the conflicting countries hide on this territory.

Sheikho noted,"Idlib has become, before and after the conclusion of the Turkish-Russian agreement and until this moment, the center of the liquidation, and that is why they have gathered all the mercenary gangs that aim to get rid of them in this region, but the other side of these liquidations is the efforts to impose their forces on each other, they say that they are trying to clean up the province of terrorist gangs, is this fact or their goals would not stop here?"

He added: "Their goals are several, they are working to change the situation in Idlib and get rid of the remnants of terrorism, that is to get rid of the gangs that affect their presence, so if Jabhat al-Nasra remains, it will affect the rest of the forces, and if it comes out, Russia will impose its conditions with all comfort on the Turkish presence."

He added, "now, through the agreement of buffer zone and the transfer of militant gangs, they are moving mercenaries or changing their names, they may formally change, but they will not be able to erase them."

The recent talk about the imminent launch of the Syrian regime military operation to regain control of Idlib, but the agreement between Russia and Turkey on a demilitarized zone between the regime and mercenaries in Idlib stopped talking about the start of the operation and the military escalation.

Where the leaders of the two countries agreed to establish a demilitarized zone ranging between 15-20 kilometers supervised by the Turkish army and the Russian military police.
