Afrin Women: they wanted to exterminate free women's thought by arresting Ocalan

In a series of events and activities condemning the isolation imposed on the leader Ocalan, Kongra Star has issued in Tal Rifat district of al-Shahba canton a statement to the public opinion in which he demanded the dismantling of the isolation of the leader and pressure on the Turkish occupation.

Dozens of women gathered in front of the Women's Association in Tel Rifat in al-Shahba canton carrying photos of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and the flag of Kongra Star.

The statement was read by member of Kongra Star, Laila Hasan.

The text reads:

"The leader Abdullah Ocalan was arrested by an international conspiracy by the fascist states, he has been in detention for 20 years and until now there is international silence about this plot and the isolation imposed on Ocalan. The conspiracy against the leader  did not only target him in person, but also the personality of all the peoples of the Middle East, and women in particular.

They wanted to arrest him to exterminate the free women's ideology, so from this standpoint they attacked Afrin canton, which was known as the color of women, and now they practice the dirtiest acts on women in occupied Afrin.

"We, as women, promise the leader that we will not give up the leader until he achieves his freedom from Imrali prison and we will be present in all fields, and our oath is to break Imrali prison and liberate the leader Ocalan."

The statement ended with slogans demanding the freedom of the leader Ocalan.
