Fighting between mercenaries west of Aleppo, calmness prevails in truce zones

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the fighting continued for the second consecutive day in the western sector of Aleppo countryside between the mercenary gangs there.

The resumption of fighting between the mercenaries of the National Liberation Front and Hayat Tahrir al-Sham was monitored, since this morning, as a result of an attack by Hayat Tahrir al- Sham on a section of Miznaz village and Kafer Nouran area, and clashes erupted between them and the National Liberation Front again, after a calm that lasted for hours.

This was accompanied by bombardment by the Hayat Tahrir al-Sham mercenaries on areas in Kafer Noran village, causing material damage and injuring several civilians. The clashes coincided with mutual attacks between the two sides of the fighting, causing a high number of casualties in their ranks.

The Turkish-Russian truce zones in Lattakia, Aleppo, Idlib and Hama have been cautiously quiet since midnight on Saturday until the moment. They were hit by rocket attacks by the regime forces after midnight till Saturday dawn.

The regime targeted areas in the Jabal al-Akrad mountains in the countryside of Lattakia, in addition to shelling by the regime forces extended areas in the vicinity of al-Buweida village in the northern sector of al-Hamwi countryside, without information on casualties until the moment.

The clashes continue with varying degrees of violence, between IS mercenaries on one hand and regime forces on the other, on the outskirts of Damascus countryside, located at the administrative border with the countryside of Suweida.

The fighting is concentrated in Talol al-Safa, the last remaining pocket of Daesh in the area. The regime's forces and allies are seeking to end their presence through continuous attacks, accompanied by occasional air and missile bombardments by warplanes.
