Violent battles in Frashin, Guerilla disclosed martyrs’ record

The media center of HPG released on Thursday a statement to the public opinion, revealing the record of a number of martyrs and what Frashin area is witnessing such as the attacks launched by the Turkish occupation army.

The statement said:

“In September 28, the Turkish occupation army launched an attack on Qelban district in Şirnex city with about 10,000 Turkish soldiers who are called the Villages’ Protectors. In September 29, the occupation carried out an airborne operation for the soldiers and the Villages’ Protectors in Hizle, Kani Turshekeh and Hozeh village. The occupation forces set fire to the lands of Mehrineh, Deryan and Rejdeh villages in September 3 and withdrew from the area.

In September 28, the Turkish occupation army launched an attack on Frashin area in Şirnex city. Strong clashes erupted between our forces and the Turkish forces, but the number of the killed and wounded of the occupation was not confirmed. In these clashes, our comrade Jekdar Azad resisted till the end and martyred. Our comrade Serkhbun (Sadeq Hassen Rashidi) was wounded during the battles and captured at the hands of the enemy. On the same day, the occupation withdrew from the area.

In September 14 at 22:30, the Turkish occupation army’s aircrafts launched raids on Wan city. After the bombardment and in September 15, the Turkish occupation army launched a land attack on the area. In the attack, Agîd Kwi surrendered to the enemy’s forces.

In September 3 at 09:00, our forces carried out an operation against a military vehicle of the Turkish occupation army on the road of Shondereh hill in Deshtana square. During the operation, the vehicle destroyed and the military road cut off.

In the statement we issued in September 26, we pointed out that the Turkish occupation launched an attack on Rojdereh square in Dêrsim city and bombarded the area with aircrafts. In the aerial bombardment, 4 of our comrades martyred and the martyrs’ record is as following:

The Turkish occupation army also launched aerial raids on the lawful defense zones, and the information of the bombardment is as below:

In September 3 at 15:30, the Turkish occupation army bombarded Jemjo, the Martyr Shahin and Werkhleh squares in Zab area.

On the same day at 19:50, the aircrafts bombarded the vicinity of Setona village in Gever district in Colemêrg city. The bombardment resulted in breaking out fire in the orchards and forests of the area.
