Afrin people resisted 58 days, proved their strong will to world

The Martyrs’ Families Council of Afrin held a meeting for the families of the martyrs in Babens villag in Fafin district in al-Shahba canton in order to explain the latest developments on the local and international arena, especially Idlib.

The meeting began with holding a minute of silence. Then, the administrative in the Martyrs’ Families Council Merwan Abdu spoke about the latest developments in the area.

Merwan Abdu said, “The battles in the Middle East, especially Syria continue as long as the capitalist states are involved in the Middle East because they do not want to solve the crises except in favor of their interests without thinking of the demands of the people.”

Abdu noted that the objective of the Turkish-Russian in Sochi about Idlib is temporary because Russia’s goal is to get these terrorist gangs out from Idlib. The deadline for taking all the mercenaries from the demilitarized zone is till 15 of the current month. I think that in the end, Russia and the regime would launch a military campaign to eliminate these gangs.”

Abdu assured, “The attack on Afrin was an international conspiracy against Afrin people, and these attacks were launched with the help of all countries, but despite these attacks, the people of Afrin resisted for 58 days all the countries that participated in the plot, particularly NATO.”

Then, the rules of procedure of the Martyrs’ Families Council and the resolutions issued during the last conference of the Martyrs’ Families Council were read by the administrator in the Children of Martyrs’ Families Committee Bakr Aliko.

Furthermore, the meeting ended with chanting the slogans that salute Afrin's resistance.
