Amina Omar: MSD is always ready to dialogue with regime to reach political solution

Amina Omar during an interview with Hawar news agency commented on the latest political developments in the Syrian arena.

Amina said "MSD is a national democratic political project that includes all segments of society and political entities with the aim of ending the suffering of the Syrian people and finding a solution to the Syrian crisis through dialogue and negotiation.”

Amina Omar said that the council responded to the call of the Syrian regime to discuss the outstanding issues between the government of the center and the area of north and east of Syria, but these discussions did not result in finding a solution so far, indicating that the course of negotiations is long but the future of these negotiations will result in what is in the interest of the Syrian people which would end the crisis.

MSD responded to a call of the Syrian regime and headed to Damascus in July 27 to discuss the future of the area and service issues of related to the area.

The talks resulted in the formation of committees to discuss the Autonomous Administration project implemented in the north of Syria and the law of local administration, which the regime calls to be applied, in preparation for the negotiation on the form of the regime in the future.

However, talks between the two sides were halted a few days later, the MSD's officials holding the regime responsible for blocking the negotiations, stressing that MSD has always adopted the option of negotiations and political solution to the crisis, and has never preferred the option of division even when the regime was in the most difficult positions.

Amina Omar, stressed that MSD is still ready for dialogue "because we believe that the political solution is the best solution to end the Syrian crisis."
