3 military regiments formed

The representatives of al-Raqqa Civil Council, SDF, the Military General Relations Office in al-Raqqa, the Future Syria Party in addition to the clans’ notables of the area and al-Raqqa city’s residents attended the graduation ceremonies.

The ceremonies started with holding a minute of silence. After that, the fighters performed a military parade. Then, the commander in SDF Luqman Khalil delivered a speech saying, “The military and political training provided you the experience to perform your historic role defending the land and the people. We will be one rank and one front to protect our country from terrorism, and we will foil all the plans of the conspiring countries, especially Turkey.”

Khalil added, “We trained the fighters within three regiments and with intensive military and intellectual lessons to form a brigade that sacrifices its life for the sake of the homeland.”

Khalil assured that SDF regiments are ready to repel anybody that would mess in our country, and we promise that our forces would defeat any external aggression as we defeated IS mercenaries.

After that, the administrator in the Future Syria Party Jalaa al-Hemzawi, the administrator in Women Council Zuleikha Abdi, the member of the General Relations in al-Raqqa Civil Council Nuri al-Deeb and the administrator in al-Raqqa Civil Council Hussein al-Berjes delivered speeches.

The speeches congratulated ending the training courses, and assured that these military regiments would be the protecting shield for the city and would secure peace and safety.

Then, the fighters swore the oath to defend the soil of Syria and preserve the gains of North Syria, and that they would implement what they have learnt during the training in the military and civil lives.

The graduation ceremonies ended with chanting the slogans that salute the resistance of SDF.
