PYD held meeting in al-Hasaka

The meeting started with holding a minute of silence. After that, the administrative in the party Silva Ahmed delivered a speech and congratulated all the party’s members on the anniversary of its formation.

Silva talked about the gains achieved by the people in North Syria and said that the formation of an administration in North Syria is considered an advanced step towards achieving more gains.

Silva described the foreign countries that interfere into the Syrian affairs of being greedy in the Syrian lands, especially the lands of North Syria. Silva added that they try to take shares for themselves through the international contracts and the attacks that are launched to determine of the people’s will.

Silva also talked about Afrin saying, “When Turkey occupied Afrin, the foreign countries like America and Russia did not move and kept silent in spite of the massacres committed against the civilians there. Turkey agrees with the countries because it is the one that planted the terrorist gangs that are existed today in Idlib and it has been supporting them since years in addition to using them to achieve its own interests in the area.”

Siva continued, “The items of the agreement held in Tehran that included the elimination of the People Protection Units (YPG) in the Syrian north in exchange for maintaining the Iranian forces in the area and achieving their aims are being applied now by the mercenaries.”

Silva assured that the Syrian crisis would not be solve only after all the countries would exit Syria. She said, “We, as the people of Syria, must exceed all the agreements and planes that are planned on Syria and its people, and we must be one rank.”

In the conclusion, discussions were opened between the attendees and the administrator in PYD about the political situation in the area.
