Mustafa Bali: our Special Units moving cautiously to save civilians in Hajin

This came during an interview conducted by ANHA agency with the Director of Media Center of the Syrian Democratic Forces Mustafa Bali, on the fronts of Hajin area, which is the last pockets of the ISIS east of the Euphrates River, where he stressed that the fighters move cautiously to save the civilians.

Bali referred to the difficulties their forces encountered during the rescue operations of the civilians, since IS mercenaries use them as human shields.

"In the first two days of the recent campaign, our Special Units managed to free a large number of the residents with their children from the areas of clashes," he said, adding that they were derive the civilians to the camp, which was opened to house the displaced.

He noted that the engineering teams of mine clearance are moving with the forces on the battlefield to demine," he said. "IS mercenaries are planting the mines everywhere and every way, in a try to prevent the advance of our forces."

Providing aids to the displaced people is the responsibility of humanitarian organizations," he said, adding that the Deir ez-Zor Civil Council provides according to its capabilities.

Mustafa Bali pointed out that the camp was opened by the Civil Council of Deir ez-Zor, not by any other party, as claimed by some media.

At the end of his speech, he said that there is full coordination between the international alliance forces and SDF during the campaign.
