Kongra Star's sit -in on last day held with massive participation

Kongra Star organized a sit-in on 15 September under the slogan "Afrin or Afrin", where the conference set up a tent in the village of Aqiba in the ​​Şêrawa district, and kilometers far from the occupied villages by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries to emphasize the escalation of the struggle and stay in the fields until the liberation of Afrin.

The tent of the sit-in was decorated with pictures of the fighters, pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan, flags of Kongra Star, olive branches and signs written in Arabic and Kurdish: "Afrin or Afrin, in the spirit of Martyr Avista, we will liberate Afrin, Afrin will be liberated from the Turkish aggression led by free women, the ideology and philosophy of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan is a guarantee for the democratic nation."

The people of Şêrawa district have participated in the first day of the sit-in, in addition to the participation of the besieged villages and the martyrs' families who were forcibly displaced to al-Shahba canton, the second day was attended by the people of Ahras district and its villages in al-Shahba canton, also the people of Serdem camp and members of the training committee in the democratic society.

Also the participants in the activities of the third day and the last sit-in residents of Fafin district and villages, the people Berxwedan camp and the councils and institutions of democratic autonomous administration of Afrin canton.

The protesters marched towards the sit-in tent today with great enthusiasm and large numbers, waving the banners of victory, chanting slogans that salute the resistance of Afrin, carrying olive branches in their hands.

The activities to return to Afrin will not stop

According to the administrators of Kongra Star said that their activities will not stop and will remain steadfast in the fields and squares until the liberation of Afrin.
