The Kurdish Red Crescent has allocated an ambulance, supported by medical personnel and medicines, to the western outskirts of the city, on a daily basis, the medical staff travel to the villages of the western countryside of about 50 villages

When the ambulance arrives at the village, a point is identified for the treatment of the parents (house or shop), medicines and treatment are provided free of charge, and when they finished their work in the village, the medical staff goes to a second village.

According to medical cadres that the most cases are skin diseases caused by water pollution in the main channels used for household items that are exposed to pollution as a result of throwing dirt and swimming in summer, and diarrhea and infections such as inflammation of the bowel and urinary tract infection and fever in children.

The medical staff confirmed that some cases such as leishmania and many other diseases are transferred to the hospitals in the city.

"Our Kurdish Red Crescent teams are visiting the villages of the western villages of al-Raqqa on a daily basis and going to all the villages, where we work to inspect the sick cases and provide medicines for them free of charge," said the nurse Khalil al-Ahmad.
