The Miniature Group's meeting for Syria, which includes France, the United States, Britain, Saudi Arabia and Jordan, started with the UN envoy to Syria, Stephan de Mistura.

The group set out a declaration of principles to find a solution to the Syrian situation, and among its principles is to define the powers of the president and a decentralized rule in Syria. And involving representatives from North and East Syria to activate and implement constitutional reform. The Miniature Group presents a paper for Syria that includes decentralization

These principles are supposed to be delivered today to the UN envoy.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed Moscow's readiness to seek ways of understanding and cooperation between the Astana formula and the international Miniature Group on Syria.
