Abu Omar al-Idlibi: Fate of occupied areas depends on fate of Idlib

The statements made by the Commander-in-Chief of Lewa al-Shimal al-Demoqrati, Abu Omar al-Idlibi, in an interview conducted by ANHA agency with him, in light of the rapid events taking place in Idlib in northwestern Syria.

He said "It is still too early to draw a clear picture of what will happen in Idlib." and added "There are military crowds on both sides," adding that reliable information and their connection indicate that there are Turkish crowds as well.

Abu Omar al-Idlibi said "all the mercenary factions in Idlib are directly linked to the Turkish state."

He added that "The skirmishes between them are part of a Turkish plan to intimidate the people and punish those who come out of the house of obedience."

Abu Omar al-Idlibi  said "It is expected that Turkey will withdraw heavy weapons from the mercenary factions in Idlib and assassinate those factions, if it agrees with Russia." And he noted "It is possible that the factions will turn into Internal Security Forces after the deployment of units of its army in Idlib city."

He said that the battles that took place before the period between the regime and the mercenary factions in Idlib and the countryside of Hama and Latakia, "was the delivery of areas to the regime under pressure from Turkey, in implementation of the outcomes of the meetings of Astana."

Abu Omar al-Idlibi  added "In fact, there is considerable equipment and strength among the mercenary factions in Idlib. They are capable of defeating the regime if weapons are given to them."

He pointed out that the fate of Jrablos, al-Bab, Azaz and Afrin depends on the fate of Idlib, and "If the regime regained control of Idlib, this will declare the fate of Jrablos, al-Bab, Azaz and Afrin, there will be no Turkish presence in Syria after, Turkey will lose all cards ".

Abu Omar al-Idlibi pointed out at the end of his speech that the contradictions that emerged at the Tehran meeting does not mean that the three parties did not reach a tacit agreement.
