Radio Rojava is re-broadcasted

The media center of the People Protection Units in its center in al-Hasakah, north of Syria organized on Monday the opening ceremony of the Rojava FM radio station, in which dozens of media professionals and commanders in the units, as well as the families of media martyrs participated.

The opening of the radio witnessed a festive atmosphere, where the celebration’s square was decorated with pictures of the martyrs of the media center of the units and the pictures of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan.

The opening ceremony started by holding a minute of silence. Two speeches were then delivered on behalf of the families of the media martyrs Riwan and Haqi, in which they praised the leading role of the media of the People's Protection Units to show the resistance of the fighters in the fighting fronts until they sacrificed their blood in order to uphold the voice of truth.

They affirmed that they are following the footsteps of their martyrs until they would achieve the goals for which they have sacrificed their life.

It is worth mentioning that Rojava radio will broadcast its news to its followers at 89.4 station.
