HPG: 59 Turkish soldiers killed within a week

HPG's media center published a statement which included the outcome of the battles carried out by HPG against the Turkish occupation soldiers in Celê and Şemzînan districts of Colemêrg and Cizîr district of Şirnex.

The center said that HPG had dealt painful blows to the enemy during the battles.

The information published by the media center in its statement is as follows,

"Our forces carried out a series of special operations against the Turkish occupation army in the context of the revolutionary campaign of the Martyrs Pîroz and Agirî.

On September 8 at 08:00, our forces carried out an operation against the Turkish soldiers stationed in the observation hill in Celê district of Colemêrg. Our forces targeted the points where the enemy was stationed as a point was destroyed. According to the information documented, 4 soldiers were killed in the fighting.

On September 9 at 3:30, our forces carried out an operation against the Turkish occupation soldiers stationed on Şekirê Spî hill in Gelîşîm of Şemzînan in Colemêrg. During the operation, 4 enemy’s points were destroyed and a large number of soldiers were killed and injured, but we could not obtain clear information about the outcome. After the operation, the enemy resorted to shelling the area with rockets and mortars.

As part of the revengeful revolutionary campaign of the Martyr Delal Amed and the Martyrs of Basta and on September 8 at 10:30, our forces carried out an operation against two armored vehicles when they went out in patrol between the villages of Dader and Hasna in Cizîr in Şirnex. The military vehicles were targeted and destroyed, while we could not confirm the number of the killed and wounded in the operation. At 3:00, more than 4 hours after the operation, the enemy took the destroyed vehicles from the area via armored vehicles.

Turkish warplanes carried out air strikes against the legitimate defense zones (Medya), the outcomes of the attack are as following,

On September 8 at 20:00, the Turkish occupation army’s warplanes bombed Mervanis area of Avaşîn and Saca area of Zab. On September 9, the Turkish warplanes bombarded Hakkarî hill of Metîna area at 10:30 - 11:30.

On Monday, the official website of the Turkish Interior Ministry published that 35 of their troops were martyred, but this piece of news is false. The Turkish state is trying to practice special and psychological warfare against the people.

This week, five of our comrades martyred in Colemêrg and Amed cities and we published news about that. Our forces carried out 22 operations this week, killing 59 soldiers and destroying 3 military vehicles, and we were not able to know the results of 10 large operations.

The occupying Turkish state wants to delude the public opinion through news that it is victorious, but the Turkish army has no ability to fight against the Guerilla Forces. Every day it says that large numbers of our troops are martyred. The public opinion must know that all the propaganda and news of the Turkish occupation are baseless. They want to cover up their defeats."
