Violent clashes between Turkish mercenaries in Afrin

A source from Afrin canton told ANHA agency that violent clashes broke out between the mercenary gangs of the Turkish occupation at the entrance of Afrin city and extended to reach Newroz roundabout of the city. The source pointed out that the clashes were because some mercenaries prevented the settlers from fleeing the canton.

The source confirmed that the settlers fleeing Afrin are trying to escape hidden without being monitored by the Turkish occupation army and some of the mercenary gangs belonging to Turkey, because the latter prevents the exit of settlers brought from different areas of Syria to Afrin to change its demographics.

The source pointed out that the gangs and other factions that allow the settlers to leave are asking them to pay money for allowing them to go to Azaz or the villages of Afrin adjacent to the Turkish border.

The source pointed out that the settlers loot the property of the people of Afrin and take it with them to Azaz or border villages, for fear of the start of Idlib battle and the battle of the liberation of Afrin.

Afrin canton is now witnessing a intensified security situation amid continuing clashes between several gangs of the mercenaries.
