Humanitarian organizations adopted new work plans In northern Syria

The Office of Development and Humanitarian Affairs of the Syria Democratic Council (MSD) in Ain Issa today held a meeting of all humanitarian organizations in the north of Syria.

The meeting was managed by the co-chair of Development and Humanitarian Affairs' Office, Abd-el-Kader Mewhed, with the participation of representatives and the development offices and humanitarian organizations in North Syria which  are more than 50 organizations.

During the meeting, all the organizations presented their monthly reports, the work they carried out during the last month and the most difficulties they met during their work, and they also put forward a new plan of action for them in the coming days.

The meeting discussed ways to develop work and provide assistance as soon as possible to areas in need of support, especially in newly liberated areas of mercenaries and large camps in the north of Syria, which contain large numbers of displaced people and suffer from tragic situations.

As the school year is coming, the organizations discussed a new plan for how to repair damaged schools and build schools inside the camps.

With the preparation of SDF to liberate the rural areas of Deir ez-Zor from IS mercenaries which include both Hajin and al-Ghranig areas, the organizations have confirmed that they are preparing to establish large camps because the region will witnessed displaced and requires organizations to provide greater support.

The meeting also covered the issue of the reconstruction of al-Raqqa city and the percentage of repairs and the percentage of damage remaining and places where more work may be allowed. The meeting revealed that 70% of al-Raqqa city has been cleaned so far from mines.
