3 Children from Afrin wounded by mine explosion in al-Shahba

A bomb left by IS mercenaries exploded on Friday evening as 3 children were playing around their house on Tal Refat in al-Shahba canton.

Afrin people who were forced out of their homes as a result of the Turkish aggression and its mercenaries on Afrin canton and headed to al-Shahba are still at risk from the spread of mines in al-Shahba canton.

The 2 children, Yildiz Mustafa and Azad Mustafa, 6 year old, and their cousin, Jekdar Mustafa, who were injured by a mine explosion, were injured today while playing around the house they live in after they left Afrin.

The mother of the twins Zinat Hassou said that after hearing the sound of the explosion by the parents of the children they rushed to the place of sound to see the three children injured by the explosion and aid them to Afrin hospital in Fafin for treatment

According to medical staff at the hospital, the 2 children are in stable condition and will remain under observation for 24 hours, while the child Jekdar is seriously injured and is still undergoing surgery.
