Zelal Jiger, Gharib Hesso elected as new co-chairs of TEV-DEM

At the third conference of TEV-DEM that was held at the level of North Syria, the attendees elected Zelal Jiger and Gharib Hesso as the new joint presidency of the Movement.

"By the Free Organized Society, We Guarantee Victory" Under this slogan, TEV-DEM held its third conference at the level of North Syria, and it was attended by 500 members and with wide participation by the political and independent parties and organizations, civil society institutions and Democratic Autonomous Administration at Aram Tikran Hall for Art and Culture Hall in Rumailan town of Qamishlo canton.

After delivering the speeches by the participants and evaluating the movement's activities, the nomination was started to choose a new co-chairs for TEV-DEM. After some members were nominated and voting took place, both Zelal Jiger and Gharib Hesso were elected as co-chairs of TEV-DEM's Executive Body to succeed Aldar Khalil and Asia Abdullah.

TEV-DEM's conference will continue to work on electing a council for the movement, and is expected that a final statement to be issued at the conclusion of the conference.
