Fake foreign currency promoters arrested in al-Hasaka

The Office of Combating Organized Crime, in coordination with Asayiş and al-Sutoro Forces in al-Hasaka city arrested two people red-handed promoting fake foreign currency, and seized fake 20,000 US dollars.

Rojava Asayiş Forces in northern Syria issued a statement in this regard on its official website and said,

"On August 26, our forces arrested two people who promote and make fake foreign currency in al-Hasaka city.

After several reports that stated that there are two people are making fake currency in one of the neighborhoods of al-Hasaka city.

The members of the Office for Combating Organized Crime in coordination with Asayiş Sutoro forces monitored the money-exchange shops in al-Hara al-Askeriya (Military Lane) neighborhood and tracked the movements of the suspected who were found to be making the fake currency of $ 100.

They were arrested through an ambush and were seized with $ 20,000 to be transferred to the prosecution and investigation committee to take the appropriate legal action against them."
