Powerful explosion on Rajo Street in Afrin

On Tuesday evening, a powerful explosion took place in Rajo Street in the center of Afrin, opposite al-Syasiya Street, and news of casualties.

A source from Afrin told ANHA' s agency of a powerful explosion took place Tuesday evening in Rajo Street, known locally as "Al-Harem Company Street" located opposite the political street in the center of Afrin, according to information obtained by the source that the explosion caused by a bomb was placed in one rubbish containers, and that the explosion resulted in the loss of three civilians to their lives so far and the number of wounded was not known yet, as ambulances rushed to the place of the blast to transport the injured.

The source noted that the city is currently experiencing a security alert by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries after the explosion.

It is noteworthy that since the occupation of Turkey and its mercenaries, Afrin canton has witnessed many violations, bombings, kidnappings, killings, looting of property and burning trees almost daily, amid international silence.
