Crime Control Office seized 80 kg of hashish in Tal Tamer

The Asayîş Rojava Forces’ Office for Combating Organized Crime seized 80 kg of green hashish and arrested traders in Tal Tamar district of al-Hasaka canton.

Asayiş Information Center said,"As part of its fight against prohibited items, our forces on Sunday (August 12) arrested two drug traffickers in Tal Tamer town."

the statement added, "After receiving information about two people who were trading the cannabis drug, members of the Office of Organized Crime Control in Asayiş forces" Tal Tamar "searched, investigated and verified the information received, and after locating the presence of traffickers and narcotics, our forces raided the house In "al-Ahras" village, where the 2 persons were arrested, while there were (80 / kg of green hashish ) in their possession which were put in bags and prepared to shipment.

According to an administrator in Office for Combating Organized Crime at Tal-Tamar and in preliminary investigations with the two persons, they were working in the trade of prohibited items in order to make huge financial gains. Therefore they were referred to the Prosecution and Investigation Committee in order to take appropriate legal action against them.
