RCC held meeting in al-Akirishi village

In order to listen to al-Raqqa people's views and to discuss the latest political developments in Syria, al-Raqqa Civil Council held a meeting for al-Akirishi village's people in the southern countryside of al-Raqqa city.

The meeting was attended by the members of the Civil Council, the member of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) Roqaya Alo, hundreds of al-Akirishi village's people and the notables and sheikhs of the area's clans.

The meeting started with holding a minute of silence. Then, the member of the Syrian Democratic Council (MSD) Rokaya Alo spoke about the latest political developments in the area and said, "The stage after liberation is more difficult than liberation times, the area is witnessing a third world war, and it is different from the wars that took place in the world. The only that benefit from this war are the regional powers and the conflicting forces on this area because the areas of Syria are rich in agriculture, economy and trade."

Roqaya Alo added, "The dialogue is open to all parties and all the countries of Russia, the United States and all the Arab countries, but Turkey is trying hard to foil these dialogues, and it is trying to foil the project of the democratic nation, but it will not success because we continue holding dialogues, and we believe in the Syrian-Syrian solution to the Syrian crisis."

Then, the sheikh of al-Sabkha clan Thamer al-Souaan put forward the problems facing them in the southern countryside. The main problem is the lack of fuel oil for farmers in the southern countryside and the lack of pesticides that protect their crops.

In conclusion, MSD's member, Roqaya Alo said that a special committee was formed to discuss the issue of diesel in the southern countryside and that the committee is now discussing with the officials responsible for this matter to solve the shortage of the fuel oil.
