Manbij…ISF reinforced their ranks

The course included 58 trainees of the Internal Security Forces who received intellectual, military and political lessons during 28 days. This is considered a step towards strengthening the ranks of the forces and raising the readiness of their members to protect the security and stability of Manbij city.

The ceremony began with a holding a minute of silence in commemoration of the martyrs' souls.

Then, the co-chairs’ deputy of the Interior Committee Rena Bashmaf delivered a speech in which she said that they are standing here thanks to the martyrs who sacrificed their blood to defend the country's soil and preserve its dignity.

Then, the commander of the Internal Security Forces of Manbij and its countryside Joan al-Ahmad delivered a speech and congratulated the trainees on the graduation. Joan said that the graduation of the course comes in important days as the second anniversary of the liberation of Manbij from IS approaches to enter its third year.

Joan al-Ahmad said, "We are proud of our young people and sisters who have volunteered to build a safe life in order to build a modern democratic society, the society of peoples’ fraternity and co-existence and the society of peace."

In his speech, al-Ahmad pledged to the people and the families of the martyrs in particular that they would be responsible for maintaining security, peace and the sacrifices of the martyrs who sacrificed for the liberation of the city.

Furthermore, the certificates of graduation were distributed to the trainees, and the ceremony ended with the revolutionary songs and al-Dabka dances.
