Media of ISF is mirror reflecting their efforts

Al-Raqqa city which was taken as capital and main stronghold to IS where it had turned into a scene of killing, destruction and committed heinous crimes against the people of the city and its countryside. They have always used various means to disseminate their extremist ideas and dark approaches exploiting the media as a platform for spreading terror and fear among civilians

Currently, after the liberation of the city and its countryside, the Internal Security Forces (ISF) of al-Raqqa square in both al-Raqqa and al-Tabqa areas are working to remove the thoughts left by IS where ISF revealed the facts and secrets through publishing them in the official page.

As SDF fighters liberated the area from Daesh, there must have been a credible and genuine media that would film from the heart of the event to broadcast the truth, whether internal or external, or from the work of the institutions and bodies that exist in the region.

The Administration of the Internal Security Forces in al-Raqqa Square Shiyar Kawa discussed the nature of the Media Center's work. He said, "We follow all the activities of the ISF, whether from security operations or graduation courses. We have put a number of our experienced colleagues in the field of media to convey the truth the event".

"The reporters in the Internal Security Forces have been subjected to several training sessions to give them theoretical and practical training, especially in the field of writing news and taking pictures to show the news to the viewers with transparency and to convey the work and achievements of members of the internal security forces from points of checkpoints and inspection arriving to the sacrifices made."

The members of the media office are distributed according to their specialization. Some of them are interested in following up the websites and the most important news. Others prepare the news in three languages: Arabic, Kurdish and English, photography, video and publishing on the website of the Internal Security Forces to be a mirror of the work of the Internal Security Forces.

Kawa said, "Many agencies and media outlets have asked for support from our media team to help them prepare reports and send news stories. This confirms that we were anonymous soldiers with more credibility than the various media.”

The ISF Media Team works to distribute leaflets from time to time to warn citizens of the dangers of mines, as well as a source of transmission of suspected sleeper cells of mercenaries in the region through private sources.
