Rojava factory supplies North Syria's requirements of plastic containers

The factory contributes greatly to the securing of plastic containers for most factories in the cities of North Syria, and to revitalize and strengthen the economy of the area, and aims to eliminate monopoly in the markets by smearing plastic packages of all forms and sizes to markets at competitive prices for packages entering North Syria from abroad.

The factory daily manufactures thousands of containers, such as bottles for drinking water, soft drinks, and buckets, as well as cans of honey and milk, chlorine, shampoos, cleaning liquid, medicine packs, oil cans and oil for car spare parts, and many different and varied capacities and varieties, and heat and cold resistant packages as well.

The economic council of Qamişlo canton provides raw materials for Rojava plastic factory from Aleppo, the factory employs 8 workers, 4 women and 4 men for 8 hours according to the hours allocated by the concerned party in the areas of Rojava and North Syria.

There are 5 basic machines in the factory, such as automatic Bity machines that manufacture honey, and jam containers, the machine operates automatically, and the semi-automatic machine is similar to the automatic Bity machine according to specifications, it manufactures containers for oil, drinking water and soft drinks in different capacities and sizes even 2 liters.

And a poly-acetylene machine called the blowing machine, which is intended for blowing up containers, making chlorine, shampoo, cleaning liquid cans, and chemicals for cleaning houses cans, this machine is made by injection making caps for all kinds of containers, whether for food or chemical.

What distinguishes the factory is the existence of the refurbishing machine which recycles the materials that are damaged, polluted and refill the packaging industry.

Rageb Mohammed, an administrator and technician at Rojava for Plastics Factory, said that the aim of the factory is to strengthen and build an economy in North Syria, and not to need abroad, in addition to providing job opportunities for the young people within the area.
