Tehran: Trump's administration is not trustworthy in negotiating

After some analysts thought that the sharpening of statements between Washington and Tehran would open the door to dialogue in a scenario similar to what happened with North Korea, Iran considered conditions "not currently available to negotiate."

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Bahram Qasimi said "There is certainly no way of dialogue and relations with current America and its policies, and the US administration has shown that it is not credible."

He added "Some in America may have some hopes, but there are currently no conditions for negotiations, given the circumstances, such as the withdrawal of the US from the nuclear agreement, the hostilities, the pursuit of economic pressure on the Iranian people and the imposition of sanctions."

Qasimi said "I do not think the war will break out, and I do not think that America is so empty of the wise that it is rushing to take such a step against Iran which has regional power and courage of its people."

He added "So I do not expect such a thing to happen, but President Donald's  aggressive policies will continue. Iran, on the other hand, stands ready to face this and will try to thwart these plots and thwart hostile policies."

Qasimi added "I think that the Iranian people will win and Trump will retreat one day and submit his demands from Iran in another form of what he is proposing now."
